  1. BACKGROUND

    Reece Walsh plays fullback for the Brisbane Broncos, since signing with the club in 2022 and debuting in 2023. Previously, he had played a season with the New Zealand Warriors. In 2023, Walsh made his debut for QLD in the State of Origin, winning the series in two games. Walsh and the Broncos dominated the league throughout the 2023 season, finishing second and losing in the Grand Final to the Penrith Panthers. Walsh won Rookie of the Year in 2021, and Best Back in 2023.
