Ingredients: 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 scoop Musashi Natural Protein Powder
  • Butter 150g
  • Honey ½ cup
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 tbsp. ground ginger
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1tsp stevia liquid
Method: 
  • Place honey and butter in a saucepan and place over a medium heat. Stirring occasionally until butter and honey have melted and combined. Remove from heat and place in a heat proof bowl and set aside to cool.
  • Sift flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and bicarbonate soda.
  • Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until combined.
  • Beat egg in a separate bowl and add the Musashi Natural Protein Powder, whisking until combined.
  • Add the egg and protein mixture to the rest of the ingredients, stirring until fully combined.
  • Roll mixture between 2 sheets of baking paper until approximately 5-7mm thick.
  • Place the the rolled mixture into the fridge for 30-45min (this step can not be missed).
  • Pre-heat oven to 180c (fan assisted).
  • Using shape cutters, cut shapes from the dough and place on a baking tray 3cm apart. Decorate with dark chocolate chips – optional.
  • Place into the oven for 10-12 minutes (or until firm and slightly golden brown).
  • Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool before serving.
